Protection and rescue plan
The plan of protection and rescue, according to “Službeni Glasnik RS” no. 87/2018 Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management, is a essential planning document on the basis of which the subjects of protection and rescue are organized, prepared and participate in the execution of measures and tasks of protection and rescue of endangered persons, material and cultural goods and environment.
With this document, the measures and activities to prevent and mitigate the effects of disasters, the strength and resources of the subjects of the disaster risk reduction and emergency management system are all being planned.
The plan also includes their organized and coordinated engagement and action in emergencies, with the aim of protecting and saving people, material and cultural assets and providing the basic living conditions.
Who is legally required to develop and adopt a Protection and Rescue Plan?
The protection and rescue plan shall be drawn up and adopted by all entities that are obliged to produce a disaster risk assessment, in accordance with the “Službeni Glasnik RS” no. 87/2018 Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management.
